Indiana
- data collection on every grade level
- deafhood- like motherhood or childhood... the whole experience of being deaf
- Statewide assessment
- Disaggregating D/HH Mainstream vs. State Schools show State Schools students tend to achieve at higher rate than mainstreams
California

- ADL assessment in development CAEBER.
Kansas
- Need to clarify types of language modes assessed
Massachusetts
- Developing norms at Boston University Data showing improved communication linked to improved English.
Texas
- Info management system tracks each student. All students will be assessed on grade level.
- Most students at TSP arrive at age 11 or 12.
- SAT HI is good for individual programming but not curriculum based
- Need data showing student achievement
- Data crunched with file maker pro. But need more capacity
Pennsylvania
- Non-categorical SP ED. Test results not provided by disability
SAT HI provides good information because it is normed with HI students.
- How can we use data to improve quality of education?
- IEP team must decide what kind of Test is used.
- Other point: 2% Rule & 1% Rule do not allow off grade level testing.
